Homework (Feb. 26-March 2)

Homework this week is due on Friday, March 2:

Math Homework:
  • Worksheets: Please complete every other problem (alternate between evens and odds so your child gets practice doing story problems AND “Vocabulary Check”/ “Test Practice” problems each week).  If your child wants to do every problem they are certainly free to do so!
  • Fluency: Play at least one game of “Crossout” each night with a family member.  Use the plastic sheet protector (included in your blue folder) and a dry-erase marker the first three nights and write directly on the paper the fourth night.  Use your addition strategies to solve!  (Please email Mrs. Teichert if you need to borrow some dice)

Directions for “Crossout”:  Take turns rolling two dice and crossing out the sum of whatever you roll. If you cannot cross out that number (all have been crossed out) your turn is over. Play continues until someone crosses off the last number and is the winner.

  • Ideas for extra math practice: Math Facts Activities
