We frequently receive questions regarding how to navigate the Quest parking lot, for example:

  • “Where do I pick up and drop off my student?”
  • “I’m hearing people talk about stacking lanes. What are they talking about?”
  • “Can I park in a stall and have my student come to me?”

Whether you are new to Quest or a Quest veteran, please take a moment and view this informative AND entertaining video about the parking lot procedures at Quest. Please share with anyone who will be driving your child to and/or from school.

Lunch at school

One of the things many students look forward to when starting full day kindergarten is eating lunch at school. Here are a few tips to help prepare your kindergartener for this exciting experience:

*Practice independent lunch preparation.  For example; How to open containers and packages (i.e. opening pudding cups, putting straws in juice boxes, etc.)

*Practice what to keep and what to throw away (i.e. keep tupperware, please throw away opened juice box even if not finished, etc.)

*Practice appropriate table manners

As you share meals with your child throughout the remainder of the summer, consider what they can begin doing independently at home now so that they are ready to be successful in the school lunch room.
