Announcements:  Parent teacher conferences will be Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Wednesday, Oct. 21. Please see sign-ups on bloomz. They will be 15 minute virtual meetings. I will email the zoom link out again on the day of your conference.

Reading in Class

• The essential question is: “What can animal stories teach us?”
• We will be learning short ‘u’ and long ‘u’ (u_e) for our spelling: mule, fuse, plum, use, dug, cub, hum, huge, must, fun.  Review: rope, nose, look, yes, their
• Our Vocabulary words are: believe, delicious, feast, fond, lessons, remarkable, snatch, and stories.

• Math in Class
• We will continue learning how to use different strategies to solve 3-digit addition equations. We will take the test on Thursday.

Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!) 
Please, please, please read with your child. Make it enjoyable and fun. You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal.
