Announcements:  We will be having our Christmas Around the World celebration this Friday. Please fill out the food permission slip.

****Also, when we get back from winter break we will be assessing the students for their mid-year progress in reading . Please have your child read over the break! ****

Reading in Class

• We will be reviewing all that has been taught up to this point.

• Math in Class
• We will be testing Wednesday on simple 2-step word problems within 20. Then we will review 2-digit subtractions so we can be ready to start 3-digit subtraction when we come back from break.

Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!) 

*Students are welcome to read their decodables from class. If they read it 3 times with you, please sign it and have them bring it back for class money. *
Please, please, please read with your child. Make it enjoyable and fun. You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal.
