Reading at home: **Your student brings home 2 decodables and 2 stories from our ELA quizzes each Friday. These stories can be read and returned for class money. If they read it 3 times out loud with you, please sign it and have them bring it back. *

Reading in Class

  • The essential question is: “How do people get along?
  • Comprehension Skill: Compare and Contrast Points of View
  • We will Introduce Diphthongs oyoi in our spelling words: soil, broil, moist, point, toil, oil, toy, joy, coin, noise Review: crown, mound, I’ll, laugh, maybe
  • Our Vocabulary words are: amused, cooperate, describe, entertained, imagination, interact, patient, peaceful
  • Math in Class
  • We are learning how to measure in feet and meters. We will most likely be testing on Thursday.
