Reading at home: **Your student brings home 2 decodables and 2 stories from our ELA quizzes each Friday. These stories can be read and returned for class money. If they read it 3 times out loud with you, please sign it and have them bring it back. *
Reading in Class
- The essential question is: “What do heroes do?“
- Comprehension Skill: Sequence
- We will Introduce Variant Vowels /ü/ and /u̇/ in our spelling words: room, flu, June, new, glue, fruit, crook, could, full, push Review: point, coin, along, ever, strong
- Our Vocabulary words are: agree, challenging, discover, heroes, interest, perform, study, succeed
- Math in Class
- We will test Monday to see how we are doing with measuring in feet and meters. Then we will start comparing lengths by adding and subtracting.
Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!)
