Announcements: Sign-ups for parent teacher conference are posted on Bloomz. Please sign-up for a time if you haven’t already.

On Friday, we will be making instruments out of trash. Please remind your student to look for the materials they will need to complete this project.

School breakfasts AND lunches are still FREE (for students) and will remain free until the end of the school year!

Reading in Class

• The essential question is: “What makes different parts of the world different?“
• Comprehension Skill: Compare and contrast key details.
• We will introduce Silent Letters wr, kn, gn, mb, sc in our spelling words: comb, crumb, scene, scent, gnat, sign, knife, know, wrist, writing Review: cube, music, very, eat, don’t
• Our Vocabulary words are: location, region, temperate, seasons, eerie, growth, layers, lively

• Math in Class
• We will be doing a spiral review to make sure we are still able to master the standards that we have learned up to this point.

Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!) 

*Please ask your child about their stories they can read for a reward. Students are welcome to read their decodables and Friday stories from class. If they read it 3 times with you, please sign it and have them bring it back for class money. *
Please read with your child. Make it enjoyable and fun. You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal.
