Save the Date:  March 24th  We will be going to the Living Planet Aquarium in Draper Utah.  If you would like to go with us, more information will be forth coming.

March is here and we have so much to do.  We are starting opinion writing, and continuing with fractions.  By the end of the week, we should be able to compare and identify equivalent fractions.  We will also be completing our “Crabitat” plans and submitting them for approval.  We’ll be traveling to South Africa, by way of Skype, and meeting a darling penguin named Stubby.  There’s so much to learn and so much fun to be had while we’re learning!

Homework for this week:

Reading
Reading 20 minutes every night and please fill out the google form at classroom.google.com. This week’s focus is fact and opinion continued.

Math 
Prodigygame.com 15 minutes, 3 nights during the week. Each time should have at least 15 problems solved in the session. 

Spelling; 
Some base words change meaning when you add a prefix.  This week, we will focus on the prefixes dis-, un-, pre-
