Every student created a Jigsaw Book with the cover completed and the mythology pocket attached to the back page.
Just go through the following steps and complete the other pages.
1. Take all of your supplies home with you –
The final section of the book is already half way done!
Now show that you have read from the other 3 areas – tell about one story from each area.
One the final page – slide your mythology cards into the pocket and decorate the page. Your cards should be ready to go since we completed this assignment last month!
Just as a reminder – there are 12 cards – each one highlights a different god or goddess from Greek Mythology with a drawing and an explanation. The gods and goddesses included are-

Since we have been reading and learning about ancient civilizations and mythology the class has really been interested in reading some of the great books about mythology and legends. The entire set of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is available in the Arrow November Book Club. It is one of the favorite series in 6th grade.
The newest addition to mythology and adventure is the series by Rick Riordan (author of Percy Jackson) and the kids can’t get enough of it! The first book is The Lost Hero and book #2 is The Son of Neptune.
