Tuesday, May 23-Wild About Learning Day. Bring a fun fact to share about your favorite “wild” animal.
Wednesday, May 24-x-tea Nice Day. We will do something nice for another class. YOUR CHILD WILL BRING HOME THEIR SCHOOL SUPPLIES TODAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THEY HAVE A BACKPACK OR SOMETHING TO PUT THEM IN.
Thursday, May 25-Yearend Party-Today is Field Day. Our class needs to wear a purple shirt and tennis shoes. They will also attend the Elementary Talent Show. Please make sure your child brings a home lunch as there will not be school lunch today.
Friday, May 26-Zip up your backpack and zoom home!–Today will be yearbook signing day for the elementary. There will be school lunch today!
There will be no more homework starting the week of May 15th. Please still have your child read for 20 minutes each day!
Monday, May 15th-Q-Quickest Day. We will have a class olympics outside.
Tuesday, May 16th-R-Read a thin day-Bring a book and get ready to read.
Wednesday, Mau 17-S-STEM Experiments-Get ready for some science fun!
Thursday, May 18-T-Thankful Day-We will write a letter to the 1st graders why we were Thankful for 2nd grade!
Friday, May 19-U-USA Day-Students with a last name A-H wear Red, I-P wear white, and Q-Z wear blue shirts.
Monday, May 8 is L-Laughing Day. Come prepared to share an appropriate joke with the class.
Tuesday, May 9 is M-Marker Day. We can do all of our assignments in marker for the day.
Wednesday, May 10 is N-Nice Note Day. Students will write a note to someone who has done something nice for them.
Thursday, May 11 is O-Outside Activity Day. Weather permitting.
Friday, May 12 is P-Picture Day. Please bring a BABY picture of yourself with your name on the back. Don’t show your picture to anyone! There will be a contest!
May 1-“G”-Game Day. Bring a board game to play. Games will be kept in a safe place during the day and will be played during the last 30 minutes of school.
May 2- “H”-Hat Day-Your child may bring a hat to wear.
May 3-“I” -Incredible Talent Day-Your child can show the class their amazing talents.
May 4-“J”-Jump Rope Day-Participate in a jump rope challenge.
May 5-“K” Kickball Day- We will play kickball with all of 2nd grade!

Friday will be Fun in theSun Day (please don’t bring stuffed animals :))
B-Bragging Day. Come to class with a show and tell, or a special story about yourself. This will be the ONLY DAY for show and tell.
C–Celebrating Your Friends-You will write a letter to a friend telling him/her what you appreciate about your friendship.
D-Dancing Day-We will have some fun Dance time in class.
E-Extra Recess!
F-Furry Friend Day–Bring a SMALL stuffed animal from home to b e with you at school. It must be small enough to sit on your desk AND you must be able to work at your desk with it sitting there. These stuffed animals will not be allowed outside!
