Just a few reminders: we are not allowed to have treats (candy, etc.)handed out with the Valentine’s cards. The only treats that are allowed are the treats that I have planned in advance for with the parents for the class party.
Please bring a valentine for everyone. You don’t have to put each child’s name on a valentine–but you can if you wish 🙂
Your child can make/decorate/buy a valentine box/bag to hold their Valentines. It’s not mandatory but they might enjoy doing it.
The party will be from 2:00-2:55 on Tuesday, February 14.
Good morning! For February’s Stem challenge, please send in a clean, empty soda can (no dents) that your child can use.
Please sign up for your Parent/Teacher Conference.

Our class party will be on Tuesday, February 14th from 2:00-3:00. Your child can brig a decorated bag/box from home to hold their valentines. There are 24 students in the class so please bring enough for everyone. You don’t need to have a name on them 🙂

Today was our Poetry Slam auditions. Each of them did an amazing job and I wish I could pick them all! Here are the 5 who were chosen and the 2 alternates (in case someone can’t make it). The Slam is February 2nd from 6-7 in the Q1 gym. Every student from the 2nd Grade will have their poem displayed so come and cheer them on!
If your child will not be able to attend the Poetry Slam on Feb. 2 from 6-7, please let me know ASAP so I can get one of the alternates read or someone who can make it 🙂
