About Us

DSC09001Hi, I’m Mrs. Woodrow!

Majority of my teaching career has been spent here at Quest Academy. I have received my education from Western Governors University. I have worked with kids for many years, as a teacher, mentor, and tutor. I have been involved with Quest as a substitute and worked specifically in the 2nd grade in the last few years. I love second grade and spending my days with these fun, loving, and energetic kids.

My goal as an educator is to create a fun and safe learning environment. All students deserve a quality education.  The classroom will be a place where students feel comfortable to share their thoughts and get involved in their learning. I have a great love for children and education. Children are all like little sponges ready to absorb all they can. I will strive to fill their “sponges” everyday with knowledge.

In my personal life,  I have been married for going on 6 years. I have 2 sweet little boys one who’s three and the is almost one! I absolutely love most being a mom to these crazy wild boys!  I love to do anything outdoors such as hunting, fishing, camping, etc. I love to cook and do all sorts of crafts. My weakness is Dr. Pepper, Snickers, and maple bar donuts! I rarely go a day with out a little Dr. Pepper!

This will be my second year teaching second grade, but my fifth year working at Quest. I got my start in teaching here at quest in the fourth grade. I love working with kids and I can’t wait to explore, learn and have fun this year in second grade. I started my education at Snow college, and received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. Go Utes!
My second grade teacher is the reason I decided to become a teacher myself. She made learning fun. My goal as an educator is to teach with compassion and help each student reach their potential.
Outside of school, My husband Josh and I have two sweet kids. Treysen who is three years old and Oaklee who is one. We enjoy camping, family date nights to Zeppes, and hanging out in our teepee reading books. Some of my favorite things consist of Andes Mints, Raspberry Lemonade and shopping.
