Stores are now gearing up for Valentine’s Day.  To help your student prepare for our class celebrations, here are the Quest guidelines in regards to Valentine’s Celebrations at Quest:

“Per Quest’s wellness policy, all food in the classroom must be pre-approved. Furthermore, parental permission is also required for students to consume food during class parties. Due to this policy—as in years past—student Valentines cannot contain edible items. Suggestions for nonfood Valentines include pencils, erasers, bubbles, stickers, etc. Please note that such items, including Valentine cards, are in no way required.”

Our class will be passing out Valentine’s cards on Friday, February 12th at the end of the day. Students may choose to bring a decorated Valentine’s box or bag to collect their special notes in. If they don’t bring one, I will provide a paper bag for them to use. Remember, it is optional to bring Valentines to pass out, however, if they do, they need to bring enough for 24 students. FYI, it is easier to pass them out if they only label it with their name. PLEASE Remember: NO food items.

Here is the link to sign up for Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences. We will be holding them Tuesday February 2nd from 320-800pm and on Wednesday February 3rd from 340-800pm. Please sign for an available time to meet.I would love to chat with you about your fantastic students and how they are doing. I will be sending out the Zoom code closer to the day of conferences. If these times don’t work please let me know so I can see about alternate options.

Just FYI………….School breakfasts AND lunches are still FREE (for students) and will remain free until the end of the school year!

If you are an e-learner and would like breakfasts and lunches please notify our lunch manager Madeline Chestnut so she can prepare them for you to pick up on fridays.
