As a fourth grade team we will be starting a Math review and tutoring everyday after school from 300-330 pm. This will go from this week until the end the last week of April. Also your students may not be in my room but could be in another 4th grade class depending on how many come to the review.We will review one standard each day, Mon-Thur. No tutoring on Fridays.

This is the schedule for this week and the week right after spring break. I will send out more of the schedule once we come back in April.

If they are staying on any of these days please make sure they know to stay after. You can just have them stay or you can let me know ahead of time. It will be a beneficial extra review for them if they can stay.

Stores are now gearing up for Valentine’s Day.  To help your student prepare for our class celebrations, here are the Quest guidelines in regards to Valentine’s Celebrations at Quest:

“Per Quest’s wellness policy, all food in the classroom must be pre-approved. Furthermore, parental permission is also required for students to consume food during class parties. Due to this policy—as in years past—student Valentines cannot contain edible items. Suggestions for nonfood Valentines include pencils, erasers, bubbles, stickers, etc. Please note that such items, including Valentine cards, are in no way required.”

Our class will be passing out Valentine’s cards on Friday, February 12th at the end of the day. Students may choose to bring a decorated Valentine’s box or bag to collect their special notes in. If they don’t bring one, I will provide a paper bag for them to use. Remember, it is optional to bring Valentines to pass out, however, if they do, they need to bring enough for 24 students. FYI, it is easier to pass them out if they only label it with their name. PLEASE Remember: NO food items.
