TUESDAY: LIBRARY BOOKS MUST BE RETURNED!!! Please make sure your child’s library book is in their backpack. Send take-home folders to school (yellow for AM and green for PM). Please review contents of folder when returned. Your student’s SEP form(student education plan) will be sent home. If you have questions I would love review the information with you during Parent Teacher Conferences or you are welcome to contact me before then.
FRIDAY: We have our Halloween party this Friday, October 29th. Please see my previous blog post for information on the parades and costume guidelines.
HOMEWORK: Quest is a no homework school but you still need to be reading with your child at least 20 minutes every day. I strongly encourage you to use some of that time to practice letter names and sounds. After your student knows all their letters and sounds please focus on writing the letters and mastering the kindergarten high frequency words found in their take-home folder. Mastering those words is essential to improve reading fluency.
