Week of February 7th-11th

Upcoming Events:

  • Friday, February 11 100th day of school
  • Monday, February 14 Valentine’s Day Party
  • Monday, February 21- NO SCHOOL (President’s Day)
  • Tuesday, February 22- “Two’s Day” 2/22/22 (How cool is that!)
  • Friday February 25- $1 Dress Down Day

**UPDATE to the Valentine’s Day Party:

Administration notified us this week that we can bring treats for valentines! So if you and your student choose you may bring store bought, individually wrapped treats to pass out as valentines. However, treats may NOT contain peanuts/tree nuts.

  • Morning class has 22 students.
  • Afternoon class has 20 students.
  • We do NOT need volunteers for our party.
  • Your student does NOT need to bring a box for collecting valentines. We will be decorating bags to collect valentines
  • If your student brings valentines to share they should bring one for EVERYONE in the class. If they want to hand out valentines to only a select few, during class is NOT the time to do that.
  • Only write who the Valentine is FROM. Do NOT address Valentine’s to each student (this will help the students distribute their Valentine’s in a more orderly manner).

Reminders:

  • Tuesday: Library books are due!  Send take-home folders to school and review contents of folder when returned.
  • To reinforce high frequency words, phonics and fluent reading, please keep reading decodable stories that are sent home each Tuesday.
