Friday material pickup info

As school will remain in dismissal until May 1st (as of now), I have prepared additional materials that can be picked up this Friday. The majority of their learning will be done electronically but their workbooks are going home too. Actually, all of their desks contents are heading home. When they come back (if they do) I will have them bring back their headphones. Anything else they need for the last month of the year, I will provide. I kept all red pens, expo markers, anything that looked like we could use when they return.

Pick up times are listed below. Please notice there are three different options, each lasting 2 hours. Rather than parking cars and walking to designated tables, parents will acquire their student’s materials by driving to tables by way of assigned lanes, which are alphabetized by student last name (see video and picture).

Pick up times:
Friday: 7:30am to 9:30am; 11:30am to 1:30pm; 3:30pm to 5:30pm

See attached picture and then click here to watch the video.

Q2 Student Council needs help with their annual service project

The Quest Academy Student Council is participating in a service project to donate hygiene kits to refugees in Bangladesh. According to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), more than 723,000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh since August 25, 2017. On September 28, 2018, at the 73rd United Nations General Assembly, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said there are 1.1 million Rohingya refugees now in Bangladesh. Beginning today, we will be collecting donations to assemble kits to help aid the people of this country.

We are collecting:
-shampoo
-toothbrushes
-toothpaste
-bars of soap
-combs
-deodorant
-washcloths
-gallon sized Ziplock bags

Donations can be any size and placed in the shopping carts in Q1 or Q2. We would greatly appreciate it if everyone would donate one or more of the selected items to help us with these relief efforts for the people of Bangladesh.
