Titanic Group Projects

My 7th-grade ELA students are currently working on group projects about the Titanic.  Each group has been assigned a book talking about a specific aspect of the ship.  Students have been reading interesting facts, and they are now starting to work on group posters/presentations.  Each group will need to create a poster tri-fold with details related to their assigned topic.  Each poster/presentation must include the following:  pictures (printed and/or drawn), a timeline of important events, important facts about their assigned topic, and information about important people related to their assigned topic.

Students will be doing a lot of their work in class, but some homework may also be necessary.  We will be going to the computer lab after we get back from Spring Break so students can work on typing things up.  Group posters/presentations will be due on either Monday, April 11th (A-Day students) or Tuesday, April 12th (B-Day students).  The assigned groups are listed in the document below.
