This week is the first week of 4th quarter and the last week before Spring Break! We will be starting student blogs this week and I can’t wait for the kids to get started on blogging. This will be private blogs that only our class can see. They will be learning to create their blog, tag posts, crate new pages and that is just this week! Here is the homework for this week!

Math: Have the kids find 5 items that are approximately greater than 3 inches but less then 10 inches and bring them to school tomorrow morning.
Also have the kids find a quote that they like and bring it to school by Wednesday.

Math (Substitute math tonight because we had to review lesson 2 so instead have the students write their a paragraph about themselves. They can write about the things they like to do but do not include any personal information such as address, phone number etc. Also see the “Blog assignment” post for more info on what else we need to work on our first blog post tomorrow!)

I am so excited to be joining Quest Academy and the 4th grade team! I have been teaching for 6 years and love my job! I earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education from Weber State in 2008 and my Masters in Learning and Technology from WGU in 2012! I love teaching all subjects but Math is my favorite!
I have 3 awesome kids (Macey 8, Mack 6 and Laker 4) and have been married to my amazing husband, Shaun, for 11 years! In my free time I love to travel, blog, and watch sports. We are die hard Utes and Lakers fans! We also love all things Disney and love to visit Disneyland as often as possible!
