WELCOME TO A NEW WEEK!
There is a book fair in the Q1 lunchroom this week. It is our BOGO book fair. Everything is buy one get one free
This week we will still be testing both Monday and Tuesday in the morning. Please make sure your student is to school on time those days well rested and has had breakfast.
Our special Graduation presentation will be on May 17 at 12:30. You will be allowed in the library at 12:15 as there is another graduation just before us. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to attend. There will still be a week of school and attendance taken after this day.
Last week of school events:
Monday May 20: we will meet the first grade teachers in the morning. In the afternoon we will be cleaning the classroom and taking home all of our supplies. Please make sure your student has their back pack that day.
Tuesday – Friday Students do not need backpacks unless you feel they are necessary.
Tuesday May 21 is our field trip to the Children’s Treehouse Museum from 11:15 – 2:00. I have several parents that need to fill out the permission form. Please do so as soon as possible so we can get our count of students and chaperones that will be attending. Field Trip Form
Wednesday May 22 Dollar Dress Down day and it is our “Field Day” we get an opportunity to play on some bouncy play area that will be on our field. I will be sending a release form for your child to participate in playing on the bouncy play area. Our time slot for playing is 9:00-10:00 volunteers are welcome to attend and play with your child during that time. We will have our popsicles during our afternoon recess time. After lunch we will be rotating with other kindergarten classes to have fun activities.
Thursday May 23 we will hand out yearbooks for anyone that has ordered one. Students that have not ordered a yearbook will be given a signing book made from papers so they can still participate with signing. Early out 1:10
Friday will be the last day of school. We have no activities planned for this day. Other than last minute clean up of the classroom. Free Dress Down day and early out day 1:10.
