We have several students that will be having a birthday while we are on break. We are also celebrating (Unbirthday AKA 1/2 BDay’s) for those students who have birthdays in June. If you would like to have your student celebrate that special event this week it needs to be before Friday.
Please remind your student that, while we will be doing fun, creative activities, we will also be working on some IMPORTANT MATH AND LANGUAGE ARTS CONCEPTS. In order for them to participate in ALL the “FUN” activities, they MUST meet our classroom expectations and continue to follow instructions/directions.
The following is a current (I hope) list of parent volunteers for our class Christmas Party this Friday from 11:30- 12:50. If I don’t have your name on the list, and you would would like to help, or I missed your name, please let me know ASAP.
1-Nancy Jarvis
2-David and Christy Olson
3-Tiffany Adams
4-Thelissa Mead
5-Jackie Sparks
- MONDAY I will be reading the book “The Polar Express” to the student’s, then THURSDAY, we will be viewing the movie. I try to make this a memorable experience complete with Polar Express Train tickets, hot chocolate, candy canes (Which we are in the process of growing), and a “special magical gift.”
- Friday morning at 9:00, we will be singing our hearts out at the much loved Annual QUEST Academy Christmas Caroling event over in the Q2 gym. This favorite activity is sure to be enjoyed by students and teachers alike. Friday afternoon from 11:35-12:50, we will be having our First grade Christmas Party. Students will have the opportunity to participate in each of the SUPER FUN ACTIVITIES offered in each classroom.
