School and classroom rules, and procedures, are designed to keep students, teachers, staff etc safe, productive and HAPPY! We have been reviewing and practicing procedures (A LOT!!!!) and going over rules DAILY, and why they are important. However, the kids haven’t been following directions the first time or meeting expectations the last couple days which includes lining up for afternoon recess the last two days. As a result they have EARNED THE RIGHT TO MISS AFTERNOON RECESS TOMORROW (SAD choices, SAD Consequences) . Please talk with your student about what respectful students look like, AND sound like, when they are being respectful to themselves, others and to the school.
