Math Homework:
Monday: Lesson 4 Use Doubles to Add
Tuesday: Lesson 5 Use Near Doubles to Add
Wednesday: Lesson 6 Problem Solving: Act it Out
Thursday: Lesson 7 Make 10 to Add
Friday: Lesson 8 Add in Any Order
*Complete every other problem (alternate between evens and odds) on the worksheets that will be coming home in the Green folder on Monday.  Please check your child’s work for ACCURACY.

Reading 20 minutes per day, record on BOOK IT reading log form in GREEN FOLDER.  There are several sources for reading: “Reading for all Learners” also known as”Baggy Books” from school, books from home or the public library and our online reading program Raz-Kids.  Our class Raz-Kids login is: dvella0 (That’s a zero)

Reading minutes can also include books from the category list for the library “Tower of Book Challenge”. Yea we are still in the lead thanks to all our awesome parents and students. Remember your student gets a prize after reading 5 books on the list and then another when all 10 books have been read! There are several lists as this is a year long challenge so KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!

This daily one-minute timed fluency reading will help your student become a fluent reader.  It will also count toward your 20 reading minutes.  Time your student for one minute.  Record the number of words they were able to read in one minute.

Weekly High Frequency Word homework.  Here is the link to print our weekly homework form:  New Weekly Spelling Homework **Remember if you choose to print off and use this form you need to make sure your student is writing each word and the sentence daily.

SPELLING SENTENCE  7 POINTS POSSIBLE ON TEST (1 point for each correctly spelled word,  1 point for beginning the sentence with an uppercase letter, and 1 point for the correct punctuation mark at the end of the sentence.)
