About elenoa.fisher
I was born and raised in the beautiful Islands of Tonga in the South Pacific. I come from a Tongan mother and a German father. I graduated with honors from Saineha High School on the island of Vava’u, and received a four-year student-work program scholarship to attend Brigham Young University in Hawaii. While earning my degree, I worked at the Polynesian Cultural Center as an instructor and a model. There, I met my prince charming, David Fisher, and we were married in the Portland Oregon Temple in July of 2000. David is an attorney here in Utah. We’ve been married for 11 years and have two wonderful children, Ailine who is 10 years old, and Kawika who is 8 years old. We also have 2 little poodles, Rusty and Missy.
I began teaching first grade at Quest Academy Charter Elementary School in 2008. I am very excited about the wonderful year ahead of me, and the great opportunity to teach third grade!
Quest Families,
Spring Break is next week. We hope you have a wonderful time with your family!
Parent teacher conferences are this Thursday. Teachers will be contacting those with whom they need to meet. Feel free to contact your child’s teacher if you would like to set up an appointment.
Friday is a short day and a dollar dress down day (your child will need to have their dollar in the morning). As students will be excused at 1:00PM, please have them picked up no later than 1:30PM so our teachers and staff can begin their break as well. Remember that leggings are not allowed on dress down day unless worn with a skirt of shorts that meet dress code requirements (no shorter than 2 inches above the center of the knee). Also, it has been brought to our attention that some students are wearing dark blue denim on regular school days. Denim, and/or denim looking material, is not considered uniform compliant, and your child will need to call home for a change of clothes if he/she wears these clothing items. We appreciate your cooperation with this.
Have a great week! Thanks for all you do.
