Here are some of the fun things we’ve done the past couple of weeks:

We had the nature center come and teach us about Utah animals:



We had a pioneer guest come and teach us about games that pioneers played:




We had the chief of the Shoshone tribe teach us about Native Americans: 




We did a STEM project on paper airplanes: 


And we had the Natural History Museum come and teach us about fossils:



It’s been fun being in fourth grade!!

For Field Day this year, we are doing cotton candy! Please sign HERE to give your child permission.

We are also looking for donations of chalk! Thank you!

Great news! NO MORE HOMEWORK FOR THE YEAR! Wahoo! 

TOMORROW IS OUR PROGRAM!!! IT STARTS AT 6:30. The students have all made different display to share with you.  Our class made Google Slides.  Come early to see your student’s presentation, they will also be out afterwards to view. 

IMPORTANT: BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS TO SIT IN!  

BRING a FOLDING LAWN chair to sit in!  We will have a few at the back, but not enough for everyone to use.

We are having a Utah Program on May 8th. All of the 4th grade students will be singing different Utah songs for you. It is at 6:30 in the Q2 gym. Best dress (like you would wear to a wedding or church) or school uniform please. Along with singing, seven students from our room were randomly picked to have speaking parts. These parts need to be memorized. We are excited to entertain you all! Invite everyone you know to come-no limit! All of the 4th grades kids have created something to show you about our beautiful state.  Come early enough to walk around and see their creations.

We are building the Titanic TOMORROW for STEM! Students need to bring all materials with them to class tomorrow. If anyone has empty tissue boxes they could donate, that would be awesome too!
