Hope you all enjoyed the break! It’s good to be back! Homework has been posted for this week under the homework tab on my blog.

Rendezvous Form

Parents, This week we learned about clouds. And we had the best song ever to teach us about clouds! Why was it the best?? Because YOUR KIDS WROTE IT! They each contributed to a different verse! How awesome is that??

Also – There’s a fun event happening on November 27th. It’s the 7th annual “Heart of the Holidays” lighting event.

Here are the details:
Monday, November 27th
6:00-7:30 PM
West Haven City Hall
4150 S 3900 W

City Hall will light up at 6:00 followed by:
-Hay rides for the family
-Music
-Refreshments
-Santa Claus

Book Reports due this week! Please be sure that students are ready to present their reports for the day that they signed up for.

We learned long division this week. I’ve got some pretty rad kids in my class!

Parents,
Homework has been posted for this week – it is under the “Homework” tab at the top of the blog! Also, be sure to have students working on their book reports! Find instructions on the book reports HERE. Parents are welcome to come for when their child has signed up to present their book report.

October 31st is our Halloween party! I have created a sign-up on Bloomz for parents to bring things to our party! I have places for parents to sign up to bring: plates and cups, two drinks, two types of cookies, and two types of finger foods. Foods must be store bought and I need to know what you’re bringing by Wednesday! Thank  you for all your support! I’m excited to see all the fun costumes!

Tomorrow, we are doing a fun activity where students create animals out of leaves. Students are encouraged to bring leaves that they can find outside tomorrow. Please have students put the leaves into a bag that they can fit in their backpacks. The animals must be able to fit onto a piece of paper, so be sure that the leaves are small enough to fit on a regular piece of paper.

Grades will be entered by Wednesday night. Please Bloomz message me if you have any questions.
