Wow!  That weekend went by WAY too fast for me.  I hope it was nice and relaxing for you all.  The craziness is about to begin….4 weeks to SPRING BREAK!!!  SO much to do, and so little time.  SAGE testing will be starting right after Spring Break.

Spelling: Spelling_Word_Cards_Unit_4_Week_5

Math:  We will continue on FRACTIONS this week.  We will focus mostly on equivalent fractions. 

**REMINDER that Thursday is always Library Day.  Please remember to bring your books back to change on this day.

Reading Homework:
Please read 20 minutes every night (M-Th) and record your minutes read on the Reading Log.  Please return the Reading Log on Friday.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Man, it flew by SO fast!!!

Spelling: unit 4 week 3
Math:  We will continue on FRACTIONS this week.  We have already started passing off 0’s, 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s, 6’s, 7’s, 8’s  9’s, 10’s, 11’s and 12’s.  WE are officially done learning the facts. We will be passing off facts until Valentine’s Day.  Please be studying your math facts at home!!!

Please click on link to access the permission slip. Please print it off, read through all the details and return the bottom portion to school with your child by Wednesday, February 7th. Students are FREE on this fieldtrip, but parents need to pay $10.00 at the front office by February 7th as well. Thanks!

Well, can you believe it??  January is almost over…!!!
That weekend flew by SO fast for me.  I hope everyone got a nice little break.

Spelling: Unit 3 week 5
Math:  We will continue on with multiplication, and do division, and area as well.  We have already started passing off 0’s, 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, 9’s, 10’s and 11’s.  This week we will focus on passing off 4’s and 6’s for Multiplication Mastery.  Please be studying your math facts at home!!!
**We will be doing a division hands on activity with Skittles this week. I will let the students eat the Skittles once we are done with the he activity. Please let me know if you DO NOT want your child to eat them.**
