October Poems and Great Brain Report
Thank you to all who passed off September poems and completed a Great Brain Report. You all did amazing!!! Here are the October poems and the Great Brain Report. I sent home a paper copy of the October poems with the students today.

I posted some pictures to the Quest Facebook page today while our class was starting our first STEM project.
I also posted pics from math yesterday. WE have been doing proof pictures of subtracting with regrouping. The students have been doing SO well! We LOVE proof pictures because they help us understand WHY we need to regroup!!

Videos to Show Different Addition and Subtraction Methods
I know that some of the students and parents do not understand all the different ways we teach the students to add and subtract. Most everyone is used to the traditional algorithm. The videos on this link below show a teacher performing those different ways. This is just another resource to help the students and parents understand what I am teaching their children here at school. I hope it helps!

September Poems & Sept. Great Brain Report
Don’t forget that ALL students need to pass off at least one September poem and turn in a Great Brain Report by Wednesday, Sept. 30th. Thanks for all the hard work!!!
SEP Parent/Teacher Conference Meetings
Just to give you all a heads up, the SEP Parent/Teacher Conference meetings will be held this Thursday, Sept. 24th, but I have a wedding to attend. Therefore I will not be here to meet on this Thursday evening. If you would like to meet with me about your child, we can arrange a meeting at another time.
