Report Cards are on SIS

I have entered all the grades and citizenship into SIS.  You can look at the report cards by going to the school website and then logging onto SIS with your child’s username and password.  That information should have been given to you.  Please let me know if you have any questions about grades. I will also send home a paper copy of the report card tomorrow (Tuesday 10/29). Thanks so much!

**Due to Halloween being this week, the students are having a review week for their Words Their Way sorts.  Each student will receive a paper copy of the 6 sorts they have done since homework began.  During the week, every student needs to practice these words.  There will be a Unit Test on Friday to see if the students have actually learned the spelling patterns taught.  Please practice very hard this week!  If a student does not make at least an 80% on the Unit Test, he or she will have to go back to their beginning sort.**

Field trip details for WSU Planetarium 10/14

Parents that have signed up to come on the field trip tomorrow:

The bus will leave promptly at 9:15.  We ask that parents drive and meet us there.  
Please be at the school by 9:00.  You can drive your child with you if you’d like.  
The field trip will last an hour: 30 minutes in the planetarium and 30 minutes of
a hands-on moon activity.  We will start at 10:00 and end at 11:00.  We are hoping
to be back to school no later than 12:00 for the students to make it into the
cafeteria for our regular lunch time.  Thanks so much!

Book Fair and Parent/Teacher Conferences

Just a Reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences are this week: Wednesday (10-9) and Thursday (10-10). Check the schedule on the blog for your time.  I have a few people that haven’t signed up for a time yet.  Please make sure to do that as soon as you possibly can.  

Also, the Book Fair will be open all week.  Please come and stop by the Book Fair during the hours open.  The hours are:
