Summer Reading Programs

Our amazing Librarian and found great Summer Reading Programs.  Here is all of the information.

Clink on “eResources” (bottom of page)
Under ebooks & audiobooks select “Overdrive ebooks & audio books”
(they will have to download the overdrive app or can use the “libby” app.)
They can type in a search for kids books & start selecting.

Go to “Download” then select either ebooks or audiobooks
Students can choose to download any of the apps:
                Axis360
                Overdrive
                Tumblebooks

3:  The following is for Barnes & Noble books stores.  I love this one!!  All the kiddo’s have to do is read 8 books, write some info in a journal that they can print off (attached) & take to the store to choose a FREE book.  The list of free books are great!

 4:  The following is for Scholastic’s summer reading challenge.  The challenge is to have the most summer reading minutes logged as a school.  All the information is on the website for parents to read.  
 
 
Click on student log in:  
Enter Username & password
Click on “my minutes” & start recording those minutes.

There’s even a timer on the page that the kids can use to help keep a more accurate record of their minutes.  It’s pretty cool.
