Goslings

We have the wonderful opportunity to observe the development and hatching of goose eggs in our classroom. Each day the students will help rotate, moisten (with the use of a spray bottle), and candle goose eggs that are being kept in an incubator in our classroom. This is an amazing opportunity for your student to observe nature as it occurs.

We are expecting the goslings to hatch the week of May 13th. Please give permission below for the students to handle the eggs and the goslings when they hatch.

We will be giving the hatched goslings to any family that would like them. I am hoping for 5-8 of the eggs to develop and hatch completely. Our class gets priority, but I will open it up to the school if needed. If you would like to take one or more home to have as your own please indicate below.

I am requiring an adult be the one to come and pick up the gosling. I will not give them to any students. Please bring an appropriate container to carry the gosling in and read the link that describes everything you will need to know about raising a goose.
