Hello, my name is Jamie Strain. I am so excited to teach first grade at Quest Academy this year.  Children have an  explosion of knowledge and understanding of the world around them at this stage in their life and I love to help them explore and find success in their world.   For the last sixteen years I have been a business owner and have loved the opportunity to stretch my abilities and learn new skills. During this time I also had the opportunity to foster 14 beautiful children, who have taught me more about life and how precious it is than anything in my life.  Family is my life, I come from a family of 10 with 2 sisters and 5 brothers and I now have 17 nieces and nephews and love spending time with them. As a family we love spending time together. A favorite vacation place to go as a family is Bear Lake. 

Things I enjoy doing are attending sports events for my nieces and nephews, especially the Quest Jr High teams, really any sporting event I enjoy watching.  I am a huge Jazz fan and love to  keep up to date on everything Jazz, from players to contracts, I love it all.  I also enjoy finding and reading new and exciting children’s books, especially books that teach children about life lessons in a fun and engaging way.  Be ready to get in GEAR for an exciting school year. I am so excited to take this adventure together.
