Your kids often see the staff wearing their BE THE ONE shirts and it always provides an opportunity to have a good discussion about what it means!! This past week we watched these short videos (Happiness is Helping Others and Mr Indifferent then we talked about how the people were feeling throughout the videos!! (We realized we can HELP others BE HAPPIER when we are KIND!!). We followed up the discussion by each child expressing a time when “their heart” felt sad and then each pledged to be someone who wants to help heal the hurt in others hearts by being KIND!!
