Hello! I am Ms. Krystal Haslett and am excited to be starting my adventure here at Quest Academy! 

I was born and raised in New Mexico. I graduated from Belen High School in Belen, New Mexico and earned my bachelors degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho in 2018. While in college I worked as a tutor and and teaching assistant and loved helping students understand and gain a love for learning. I spent the last year teaching Algebra 1, Algebra intervention and Psychology at Belen High School, and doing after school math tutoring. I love teaching, and helping students develop a love of learning and a love of challenges! 

I love traveling. Since graduating from college I try to spend any free time I find exploring, going on adventures and traveling. In the past couple years I have been to Italy, Washington D.C., Washington state, Oregon, California, Colorado, Mexico, Olympic National Park, Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Arches National Park and Zion’s National Park. I hope to continue exploring the United States State Parks, as well as visiting Machu Picchu, China, and other parts of Europe. 

Aside from traveling I love being in the outdoors and playing sports. From riding ATVs and snowmobiles; to soccer, basketball, racquetball, tennis; to camping, hiking and kayaking, I adore the outdoors. My family means the world to me and I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my niece and nephews! 

I am excited to start this next new year, meet amazing new students, and learn alongside my students!
