Students are welcome to bring a bag or box from home on Valentine’s to collect their Valentine’s cards in. Today we talked about ideas for boxes and discussed that this is an optional activity. Here is a link to the pictures we looked at: Valentine Box Ideas

• The family letter below provides review in math that you can do with your student.  Please read the letter and invite your child to share what they know about the concept by doing the activity together.
• This is the standard we are working on this week:

• Reading 20 minutes per day:  Reading comprehension strategy: Help your child read a story and then retell the events from the story in the correct order while they are focusing on the characters, setting, and events. As well as, making and confirming predictions.  

Our class is having a pizza party to celebrate their great achievements on their winter testing.  Please click on the following link to give them permission to participate in the pizza activity.  They do not need anything for the party, just your permission.  It will be a quick and fun celebration and a fun way to celebrate their hard work.  If you have questions please email me at lgieseke@questac.org.
