A Visit From Abraham Lincoln!

We were so excited to have a visit from Abraham Lincoln! He answered a lot of our questions (which were very thoughtful questions, indeed!) and he gave us a lot of information about one of our favorite presidents.  A HUGE thank you to Jay Hall for bringing Abraham Lincoln to life for us with his comprehensive knowledge and wonderful insight! 🙂

Winter Party Photos

Our Christmas party was a delightful success! Due to technical difficulties with our iPad, it has taken me some time to get our photos here onto our blog, but here they are now! Enjoy! Also: a HUGE THANKS to the wonderful parents who made our party possible! Thank you for your hard work and time spent planning and preparing for this event. We LOVE our parent volunteers!

“Crazy Professor” Dramatic Reading

Your adorable children were so darling and animated during our reading activity the other day, that I just had to post a video of the fun! This reading “game,” which we lovingly call “Crazy Professor,” involves the children performing dramatic readings of a difficult text to their partners. They are supposed to act out the words of the text, and they had so much fun doing it! In this clip, they are reading a biography about Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior. Enjoy!
