Directions: Always keep this in your homework folder. Each day place a check in the box when you finish your homework. Have a parent initial the column and bring back this sheet every day in your homework folder.
Students are required to read 20 minutes a day. Please record reading time on the attached document or on the google document. It needs to be up to date every Friday. Reading LogYellow Sort 44
Monday
ABC sort
Have your child explain the sort rule to you and put their words in alphabetical order.
- 20 minutes of reading
- Chapter 1-Lesson 4 ODDS
- Chapter 1-Lesson 4 Key
Time your child doing the sort three times.
- Speed Sort
- 20 minutes of reading
- Chapter 1-Lesson 5 EVENS
- Chapter 1-Lesson 5 Key
Read the sort words to your child aloud (without showing them) and have them write them under the correct rule column with the correct spelling.
- No Peeking Sort
- 20 minutes of reading
- Chapter 1-Lesson 6
- Chapter 1-Lesson 6 Key
Glue down the rules and the sorts that follow those rules
- Glue Sort
- 20 minutes of reading
- Chapter 1 Test Review
Would like for the students to bring in the completed work itself or just the organizer saying they did it?

Just the math needs to be turned in. The other assignments can be reported on the homework tab under words their way and reading homework.

Do they report everyday on the website or the full form Thursday for Friday?
I think it would be easier to report just once a week on Thursday or by the latest on Friday.
We are having trouble opening the Chapter 1 math review. We don’t have Microsoft Office. Is there a download available we can use until we can get the program, or is there an alternate program? Thank you:)

We are also having no luck opening tonight’s homework!!
We had to download a trial of Microsoft Office 365 to make it work, it’s a 30 day trial. Looks like we might have to buy the program, unless there is a way to open the homework otherwise.
Oh I am so sorry! I will save it as a pdf next time and you shouldn’t have any more problems!!
