This week we will be going over:
ELA: Ask and Answer Questions – I can ask and answer questions to find the main idea and key details.
Math: Addition with 2-digit numbers – I can fluently add 2-digit numbers within 100 using different strategies.
Phonics: Review short vowel sounds – I can read all short vowel sounds in words (a, e, i, o, u).
Sight Words: We are on week 1.6, but we are reviewing 1.5 sight words – you can find this in their take home folders.

What is coming home this week?
There is a new reading and sight words tracker coming home. It is on a dark green paper. Please ensure your child is reading and practicing their sight words!

A practice test that we did last week with Asking and Answering Questions is coming home, that is not their score. It was just a practice test.

Reminders:
– Our library day is on Mondays- please make sure your student’s library book comes back with them after the weekend. If your student didn’t get their library book back today, please send it with them TOMORROW!
