This week we will be going over:
ELA: Summarize – I can summarize a biography by writing a short summary including important details.
Math: Determine Lengths – I can compare objects and find the difference in lengths.
Phonics: Dipthongs, oi and oy – I can read words with digraphs oi and oy.
Sight Words: Week 5.2 – You can create flashcards, have your students use them in a story, or use them in sentences.

What is coming home this week?
There is a new reading and sight words tracker coming home. It is on a light green paper. Please ensure your child is reading and practicing their sight words!

Reminders:
– Our library day is on Mondays- please make sure your student’s library book comes back with them after the weekend. Please bring them back tomorrow if your child forgot them today.
– With the weather fluctuating please make sure you are sending your child with the appropriate clothing to play outside.
– If you haven’t yet paid the $5 for the zoo field trip, please stop by the office ASAP!
