This week we will be going over:
ELA: Visualize – I can visualize a poem to understand the theme.
Math: Word Problems with Money – I can solve word problems with money.
Phonics: Consonant Trigraphs (spr, str, scr, shr, thr, spl) – I can read words with consonant trigraphs.
Sight Words: We are on week 2.5. You may make flashcards of the sight words and have your student read and spell each word. For a challenge, have your students write the sight words in sentences or a story.

What is coming home this week?
There is a new reading and sight words tracker coming home. It is on a bright orange paper. Please ensure your child is reading and practicing their sight words!

We are celebrating:
– Gage’s Star Student week!

Reminders:
– Our library day is on Mondays- please make sure your student’s library book comes back with them after the weekend. Please bring them back tomorrow if your child forgot them today.
– Please bring supplies for the diorama this Wednesday!
