Prezi’s in 4th Grade
Part of our 4th Grade Technology Standards include that sudents will use Prezi to create a presentation. This class needed to take pieces of their science knowledge from this year and make sure their planet “worked.” So if they had super hot temperatures, and their people/animals needed water to survive—how would that work, since water evaporates when it heats up. It was a great way to conclude their research on that specific science topic!

Apple Store in Farmington Station
I had the opportunity to go with the Third Grade to the Apple Store last week! I was so impressed by the Apple Store and the employees, they were very helpful and fun with our kiddos! They were also very impressed with our Quest Kids! We are lucky at Quest that our student’s have the opportunity to learn on Mac and PC. Just another reason why Quest is the Best! Here are some pics of our kiddos in action! They were creating Mother’s Day iMovies!
Scientific Method in 3rd Grade
Last week Mrs. Hutchison’s Class had a little fun with “Force,” and the Scientific Method. They learned that whenever you play with science you use the scientific method. They asked questions, made predictions, recorded our results, and finally wrote a conclusion.
The main thing they learned is that the more air there is in a ballon the more force you have. They also learned that science can be a lot of fun.
