A quick glance into our Kindergarten Classes during Center Time. As I have mentioned, numerous times, all of our classes in the Quest Elementary Building have a scheduled time for Literacy Centers. During that time, the students participate in differentiated learning activities in the areas of COMPREHENSION, WORD STUDY, WRITING, FLUENCY, COMPUTERS AND MUCH MORE. The main reason why we do this, is so that our amazing teachers can pull your students back and teach them literacy skills in small groups on their level! It is a beautiful thing!!!! Ask your students about this part of their day! Don’t forget to ask your teachers about it also at PTC!

4th Grade Wax Museum
The fourth grade presents, “A Night at the Museum”. They will have two “performances”. One performance on February 26th (for students and staff) and the other on February 28th (for parents, grandparents, family members and friends). On the 28th they will perform our “Night at the Museum” in the lunchroom from 5:30-7:00 pm.

4th Grade Math Fluency Party
Yesterday we celebrated a little Addition Math Fluency party with the 4th Grade at lunch! The 4th Graders were the winners of our Math Challenge between 3rd-5th Grade!
We surprised them with Fat Boys for dessert, a special cheer from our Coaches and Principal, and a Math Movie! We also had a special guest visitor from one of our neighborhood police officers who came and congratulated the kiddos!

Sticker Friday
Our lovely students love to stop by and visit Mrs. Rounds’ and our Secretaries. It started with a couple cute kiddos stopping by on their way out the door telling the Office Staff goodbye. In return, we gave them a sticker to thank them for stopping by. Word got out that the office had really cool stickers and now it is a tradition to come and chat with our Office and receive a Sticker!

We had a 3rd-5th Grade Fasst Math Challenge last month to encourage all of our students to pass off the 1st step in Fasst Math, which is Addition!
Our 4th Graders really rocked it and are the winners of a Free Dress Down Day, and a Special Surprise from
Mrs. Rounds!
