We are a dual platform school. What does that mean? It means we provide the students with the opportunity to learn how to use a PC and a Mac computer! Yes, starting in Kindergarten students at Quest start to learn both platforms!
We also have our very own set of Technology Standards that the teachers follow to integrate technology throughout their daily curriculum.
Every teacher has a Class Blog, that they use as their primary source for communication with their students and their families.
In addition to two classroom computer labs and a mobile Wii fit lab, Quest Academy has a mobile computer lab (C.O.W) for every grade, each housing a full set of classroom computers. C.O.W. stands for computers on wheels. We have a total of 13 C.O.W.S right now at our school
Our C.O.W.s easily transform any classroom into a digital learning environment. Each mobile computer lab includes a set of Macbooks, PC laptops, or NetBooks housed in a sturdy and secure mobile cart. Each cart is equipped with a wireless access point that connects each student to the school’s network and the Internet.
