I met my forever love my senior year of high school at a Jazz Basketball game.  We will celebrate our 22nd anniversary this September.  Our home has been blessed with three beautiful, talented children.  Taylor is 21 working on his Bachelor’s degree at Weber.  McKenzee will turn 18 this September and is a senior. Connor turns 13 in August. Our family gained another daughter, Mady, on October 21st of last year with the marriage of our oldest son. 

I have a passion for education!  My love of teaching began at a very young age.  I love seeing the children’s face light up when they grasp a new concept!  Education runs deep for me.  My father, two aunts, my sister, my brother, and I are all educators.  I’m so excited to be returning to teach first grade at Quest this year!

Soccer is our family’s sport of choice.  We all play and are very active in our local, all volunteer run, American Youth Soccer Organization for Roy.  If we are not at home, odds are that we can be found on a soccer field.

I enjoy traveling, seeing new things, reading, playing the piano, crafting, camping, watching movies, and cooking, entertaining, baking, and playing games with my family, as well as friends.  I absolutely LOVE going to the movies. My favorite movies are those based on historical events and places.  I have a deep love for history and have a lot of historical places on my bucket list to visit. I LOVE chocolate, Fiiz & Swig Sugar Cookies, and I LOVE Propel’s!  They are my new favorite healthy drink.  I LOVE shopping for school resources for my students to use in our classroom.  Some of my favorites are TeachersPayTeachers, Lakeshore Learning, and Carson Dellosa, to name just a few.
