It was fun to hear about Amelia Earhart’s many adventures that began when she was a young girl. We are intrigued by her mysterious disappearance. Thank you for coming, Amelia!

After working hard for a few weeks we earned our classroom “surprise”. We played with “sphere” bubbles and “cylinder/cone” sidewalk chalk. Shapes are everywhere!

It was a fun experience to Skype with Bessie Coleman. We enjoyed watching her plane fly and hearing about her adventures. Bessie taught us to never give up on our dreams. Thank you for visiting with our class, Bessie!

Johnny Appleseed recently visited our class. The students enjoyed hearing about his travels and his love for animals.

We were excited to hear Helen Keller share her story with our class today. She is a great example of courage and overcoming challenges. Thank you for coming!
