Thank you so much for coming to parent teacher conferences. I loved getting to talk to you and celebrate your child’s successes! Our Valentine’s party will be on Friday, Feb. 14 from 9:45-10:45. The students can bring Valentines to exchange, we just ask that there is no food or candies in the Valentines. We have 27 students total.

*Reading logs can be turned in this week for full credit.

Math in Class
We will be solving word problems using addition strategies. Please watch for practice pages to come home. I know homework is optional, but if you could talk about it at home, it would be greatly appreciated. 

Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!) 
Enjoy your time at home with your kids and continue to encourage them to read for enjoyment! You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal. Remember to fill out your monthly reading log if you want a prize.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
