Reading in Class: We are learning how to reread and find the theme of a story. In phonics we are learning about vowel team syllables ( ai, ay, oo, oy, ea, etc). See the paper below.

Math in Class: We will be reviewing second grade math standards.

Reading Passages (optional, but highly encouraged!!):Stories go home each Friday. Encourage your child to read them to you (3 times), sign it, and send it back with them. They get class money for this! Last class store is this Friday.
