Sewing

This class is so much fun! It is an elective class and the fees cover the cost of all materials including sewing tools and sewing machines. We will first learn the parts of the sewing machine, how to sew seams and use seam allowances, then….the fun begins. We will use the Engineering Design process and experiment with the following projects: pillowcase, lanyard, zipper bags and if time allows a notebook cover. This class is for 6th-grade boys and girls. A welcome break from core classes.
