Things to keep in mind
Anyone who has not paid the $20 school supply fee may do so at the front office. We thank you for your support!

The weather continues to get cooler, so make sure your child brings the appropriate outerwear to school. If an extra layer is needed in the classroom, please remember that no hoodies are allowed. The Quest dress code allows solid colored sweaters in navy, red, or white. Buttons or zippers must be the same color as the sweater. Students are also allowed to wear school spirit sweatshirts or jackets inside the building.

What’s coming up
Apple Witches: They are looking awesome! Kind of gross, but definitely awesome Dress patterns will be coming home with your child this week. We will be dressing our witches on Friday, October 13th, so please be on the lookout for a volunteer invitation coming via Bloomz.

Halloween Party: I can’t believe we are already talking about this! We will be holding our Halloween festivities on the 31st, which is also a short day. For those of you who signed up to help with the party, please be on the lookout for a Bloomz message about the planning for the event.

Homework
Reading: 20 minutes, at least 5 nights of the week! A new assignment is posted on the Google classroom. Students need to post the title, author, and description of the book that they are reading. They also need to make a prediction about what they think will happen in the book. As they continue reading throughout the week, students should come back to their assignment and tell whether their predictions were correct, or what happened instead.

Math: A new assignment has been created in Prodigy. 15 minutes, at least three nights a week. When Mrs. Goldsberry and I log on to our Prodigy account, we can see a graph of the activity level of students throughout the week. We absolutely love seeing high levels of activity!

Have a great week, everyone!
Work hard. Be Kind.
