Hello Parents!,
We are now totally into the swing of things and moving right along.
Your child will bring home a homework pack today that you can refer to for the school year. There are several options that you can do for nightly word work and sorts. The math fluency page can be used all week. Just print it off and do a few problems each night, if you’d like.
We have done the different sorts, here at school, so your child should know how to do each one.
Each Friday your child can bring a printed homework form, submit that he/she has completed homework on the e-submissioin or bring a signed paper saying that they did the work.
Each Monday you will need to print their words off for the week. Today I am sending their sorts home with them to get started.
The A group is Quintin, Preston, Bryan, Kolby, Corbin S, and Adaliah
B group is Ryllie, Rusty, Corbin B, Zavian, Bryton and JAson
C group is Grayson, Kyler, McKylie, Nash, Leah, Charlie and Lexie
D group is Tyson, Mattie, Kathlyn, Tyce, Denver and London
So the schedule should be some word work each night, several math problems and 20 minutes of reading.
The most important homework assignment is reading for 20 minutes each night!
